Submissions Guidelines - Retreat Schedule Listings

What events may be listed?

Inquiring Mind includes listings for dana-supported vipassana/Theravada events taught by approved teachers in the vipassana community and/or graduates of the Community Dharma Leaders program. (Teachers not listed in previous issues of Inquiring Mind must be approved in consultation with our board of advisors. Please describe the teacher’s background when submitting new listings and indicate a currently listed teacher who might serve as a reference.)

What is the cost?

There is no required fee for listings. Instead, we rely on your generosity through voluntary donations. Our suggested donation is $25 for each event listed.

What is the deadline?

Listings for our spring issues are due February 1 and may include retreats taking place from May 1 through January 31 of the following year. Listings for our fall issues are due August 1 and may include retreats taking place from November 1 through July 31 of the following year.

What information should be sent to Inquiring Mind ?

For each event to be listed please include:

- Location (City/State/Country)

- Dates (from/to)

- Teacher(s)

- Retreat/Event Title (if not a standard vipassana retreat; optional)

- Contact Person/Organization name for this event, including phone (required) and

ONE of the following: address, fax, email, website
