Submissions Guidelines - Articles, Poetry and Artwork

Inquiring Mind welcomes the submission of articles, poetry, and art that might be of interest to our readership. Unfortunately, we are unable to print all of the many submissions we receive.

·Articles should generally not exceed 2,500 words in length, and due to space and editorial considerations may be edited in consultation with the author.

·Direct quotes from other published works should be properly cited, including author, title, date, etc., and a photocopy of the original source included.

·Artwork for consideration should first be submitted as low resolution images on a CD-R, or as high quality photocopies. Please also provide a phone number and email address. Artwork will not be returned, so please do not send originals or slides.

·Please indicate previously published works by the same author/artist.

·Submissions for our fall issues are due by April 15, and for spring issues by October 15.

·Please send submissions to: Inquiring Mind, PO Box 9999, Berkeley, CA 94709. If you would like your submission returned to you (excluding artwork), please enclose a self-addressed, stamped envelope.
